Like I wrote in my bio, it is a jet starter engine. It is not a apu. Therefore the flames are for looks. That is why the kerosene is not burning black. You were right. I do not observe, from the photographs, a turbine engine's exhaust. I see a flame-thrower. If you did perform a bona fide install of an APU, one should only see heat waves exiting the exhaust, rather than yellow flame. Diesel/kerosene burns much more dirty=>black smoke. If you truthfully have an APU in there, congrats! It simply does not add up for me.--darth
