ive been riding a 1980 CB750f for a few years now. I just got an 86 VF500F about a week ago and WOW!! what a difference!! It feels so much lighter and responsive. Not as much full on power as my 750, but it gets up to 60 quicker. It rides through the tight twisty roads so much easier than the 550 pound beast.
I paid $1900 and it only has 7200 miles on it but the original owner dropped it so it has a few road rashes.

I've been riding for over 45 years, and have run full swing through Japanese, European, Asian, and American bikes. I recently acquired an 86 Interceptor that had been abused to the crap heap and back. But, with attention to basic Honda parameters, she's risen like a Phoenix, and performs flawlessly. When I bought this bike, she was rattle-can black. Everything that could be painted was flat-black. I have undergone some intense search, and have found most parts for body and fairing replacement. None better. Silverback45.
